It is really important to practice
the conjugation of some verbs!
The simple present tense have three (3)
fundamental forms:
1) The positive or also called ‘affirmative’ form
2) The negative form
3) The question form

Yes / Not Question
I am (I’m)
I am not ( I’m not)
Am I?
You are (you’re)
You are not (you aren’t)
Are you? - Aren’t you?
He /she /it is
He/ she / it is not
(isn’t)
Is he/she / it? - isn’t he
/ She / it?

We are not (we aren’t)
Are we? - Aren’t we?
They are
They are not (They
aren’t)
Are they? – aren’t they?

If the subject is ‘he’, ‘she’ or ‘it’, you have to add
an ‘S’ at the ending of the verb.
Some verbs change when conjugated with third
person (he / she /it )
Example: To Study – She Studies
To try – he /she /it Tries
To fly – he /she /it Flies
To cry – he / she / it Cries
