VERBES
a word (part of speech) that usually
denotes an action (bring, read), an
occurrence (decompose, glitter), or a
state of being (exist, stand).

To speak/ to like or to love / to dislike or to hate/ to adore

To end or to finish / to choose/ to fill (up, out)/ to succeed or to achieve
-RE verbs
Meanings:
vendre, attendre, descendre, répondre, perdre
To sell/ to wait / to go down or to come down or to get out / to answer/ to lose

Verbs has two parts: stem and ending

Conjugaisons
To conjugate a verb, you have to identify the stem
of this verb. This is done by eliminating the
ending of the verb in its infinitive or base form.
For exemple:
AIMER
AIM-ER
FINIR
FIN-IR
DESCENDRE
DESCEND-RE

Each verb has a different derived form according to the
personal pronoun that precedes it.
For example:

I am
You are
He is

Each personal pronoun has its particular way of being conjugated.

So, you know now how to conjugate all regular –
ER verbs, because they ALL follow the same
pattern.
What you need to remember is which ending
corresponds with each personal pronoun:

Tu – es
Elle – e
On – e
Vous – ez Ils – ent

Nous – ons
Elles – ent

And what is a personal pronoun?
Personal pronouns are pronouns used as
substitutes for proper or common nouns. All
known human languages have personal
pronouns.
