The Monsters
The 3 sisters were separated at birth until
they were drawn back together to embrace
their fate. They are reunited to find, fight, and
send the monsters back to their realm. The
monsters were escaping into the human realm
to capture a huntress so that they could be
freed. The rule was originally that only one
monster could fit through the seal at once but
now a majority of the monsters were coming
through at the same time.
Thane
Grace’s brother who is
also adopted and plays
soccer. He becomes really
good friends with a guy
Milo. Through out the
story Thane always
happens to be in the right
place at the right time to
watch out for his sister. He
knows something is going
on but all he can do is ask
if she’s ok.
Milo
Milo is Thane’s friend who
develops a crush on
Grace. He takes her and
Thane out to show them
around San Francisco.
Him and Thane were with
Grace when she saw her
first monster but they
couldn’t see it. He thought
she was just sick from the
restaurant he took her to
being she was a
vegetarian.
Ursula
Ursula took in Gretchen
when she was the age of
12 and began training her
to hunt monsters. She had
collected a lot of research
on the monsters she had
hunted. She never told
Gretchen about her
sisters. Ursula left home
to do some of her work
and had been captured by
the monsters but had
teleported to Grace and
told her to find her sister
and tell Gretchen she
missed her very much.

Three sisters are descendants of medusa and are
reunited at the age of 16 to live their fate. Their
fate is to fight monsters and send them back to
their realm. Grace is one who just moved to San
Francisco and has a younger brother, they’re
both adopted. Gretchen was the first to begin
fighting monsters at the age of 12 and has to
train Grace. Greer was the last to be united with
her sisters. She never even knew she was
adopted and had her life on track with a
boyfriend and everything. Sweet Venom is one of
a series and is based off of Greek Mythology.

Three sisters are separated at birth and then
reunited to fight mythological monsters. Grace
always knew she was adopted, Gretchen never
had a great family and was taken in by Ursula at
age 12, and Greer was a sister that Gretchen and
Grace never expected to find. Sweet Venom is
based on Greek mythology with a twist.
What I think…
I couldn’t put this book down. It was
totally different and something that could
never happen. Having my family being part of
the Greek culture reading a story based on
Greek Mythology made it even more
interesting. Another point that drew me to
this story was that the protagonists were
adopted. I’m glad I chose this book because
even though I had no idea what it was about
it turned out to be a great story.
