Active modes of transportation, such as bicycling and
walking, will be an integral, convenient and safe part of
daily life in Monterey County for residents and visitors of
all ages and abilities.
Goal #1: Active Transportation trips
• Increase proportion of trips accomplished by biking
and walking

• Improves or maintains quality of existing facility with high usage, or in a way
that will increase usage
