Camp Alpine Vision
Provide an environment and experience which reinforces the
Aims of Scouting for both participants and staff. We will
deliver a robust, engaging program offering experiences for
all Scouts and Leaders in attendance, fully utilizing the eight
Methods of Scouting to reinforce the Scouting Aims of
Personal Growth, Citizenship, and Fitness.

Program Structure
• Four scheduled periods of 1 ½ hours each; two
before lunch, two after lunch
• One open schedule period of 1 ½ hours during lunch
period. Optional for Scouts, program areas will be
manned

• Scouts will be divided into Patrols (enforce
the Patrol Method).
• Each patrol will have a Troop Guide to lead
and instruct them
• Program will be offered in a Round-Robin
schedule, by Patrol, including the following
activities:
– Basic Scout Skills (camping, hiking, pioneering,
cooking, Totem Chip, etc)
– First Aid (opportunity to earn the merit badge)
– Aquatics (opportunity to earn the merit badge)
– Shooting Sports (introductory experience)
– Nature

• All activities coordinated with/ through Guide company,
with qualified guide/ supervision.
Staff Composition
• Scouting adults serve as Program Area Directors,
responsible for Program Area development (class
offerings), POI development (how the classes will be
taught), and Program Area staff training.
• A Scout will serve as a Program Area Leader, responsible
for leading and managing youth staff members.
• Counselors in Training (14 and 15 y/o Scouts, limited to
ten Scouts) will serve in two different Program Areas for
experience during Camp Alpine.
Administration
• Cost: $340 per Scout, Scouts in Special Adventure
program $425** (subject to change, based upon
activities offered), and adults $275
• Units must bring own tents, Patrol gear, etc
• Patrol Cooking: Ingredients will be provided to units
on a daily basis, with suggested recipes.
• Patrol Gear (tents, stoves, pots/ pans, etc) will be
available from TAC, for a nominal fee.
