Objective: be able to describe and explain
the journey and concept of the miraculous
journey of Al Isra’ & Me’raaj
Starter: is this a miracle? What makes a miracle?

Explain the following words. During the course of the lesson.
Baytul Ma’mur – corresponding house above the ka’ba which is identical
and leads to the 7th heaven.
Sidratul Muntaha – Lote tree which marks the end of the 7th heaven
Masjid Aqsa – mosque on the site of the dome of the rock
Dome of the Rock – shrine where muhammed ascended to heaven in
jerusalem.
Jerusalem – Holy city for Jews, Christians and Muslims in Israel
Buraq - winged horse Muhammed travelled on through heaven.

these responsibilities.
