life to exist on a planet.
• An example is the ecosphere
of our Solar System.

• Our Solar System’s ecosphere is
the imaginary area around the Sun
where temperatures are suitable
for life to exist.
• It encompasses two planets:
Mars and Earth.

• The biosphere is the collective term for the living organisms that
inhabit our planet. In other words, the living things that live in the
troposphere, the hydrosphere and the upper layer of the
geosphere.
