The Buddhist concept of nirvana is quite
different from vedic concept of moksha.
Buddhism denies existence of soul and of god
.Hence the concept of moksha-merger of soul
into Brahma had no meaning.
In Buddhism when one gets rid of the cycle of
death and birth . It is called nirvana .
Nirvana is not something to be achieved after
death . It is achieved in the life time itself .
The achievement of nirvana demands that
man should follow a moral code of conduct .
