• Christians found mainly outside the
coastal and eastern
• Muslims make up some 30%
• Others are Hindus, Buddhist, or people
that believe in their ancestor’s belief

The Uses of Geography
• Kenya has not modernized as greatly as
other countries have, many of the people
still believe in the everyday traditions of
their ancestors. There are few advances in
medicine and in health but other than that
there is no technology available for
everyday life.
