The themes of the book Indian captive are Perseverance and
Bravery.
The theme Bravery is a theme because Mary is very brave
when she is captured by Indians because I would be very
scared and not brave.
I also chose the theme Perseverance because she pushes
through all the pain that she has like not seeing her family for a
long time.
The book Indian Captive is about a girl named Mary Jemison
and she gets taken away by a group of Indians. For a long time
Mary was stuck with the Indians and she started to become
good friends with the Indians. Mary misses her family so much
and she now really wants to get back to her family. Will she
get back to her family or will she not, read Indian captive to
find out.
