The Wave (between Arizona and
Utah - USA)
A real beauty of red rocks at the
border of Arizona and Utah, the
wave is formed by sand dunes at
the age of 190 million years,
which have turned into
rocks. This unknown entity is
accessible only on foot via a 4-5
mile hike and highly regulated.

Antelope Canyon (Arizona - USA)
The most visited and most
photographed slot canyon in the
southwestern parts of North
America, the Antelope Canyon is
located in Navajo land near Page,
Arizona. It contains two separate,
photogenic rocky gorge, named
individually Upper Antelope
Canyon - or 'gap' (The Crack) - and
Lower Antelope Canyon - or
"tirbushonat '(The Corkscrew).
Great Blue Hole (Belize)
Part of the Reef System, Great
Blue Hole lies approximately 100
kilometers from the mainland of
Belize City. A large, almost
perfectly circular hole
approximately one quarter mile
(0.4 km), it is one of the most
spectacular dive sites around the
globe. The water is deep and 145
m depth just gives deep blue color
that causes such structures
throughout the world to be called
'blue holes'.
Crystal Cave of Giants
(Mexico)
Found deep inside a mine in
southern Chihuahua, Mexico,
these crystals were formed in
the cave totally enclosed in
bedrock. They druse, full of
spectacular crystals as tall as
pine trees, and some are even
wider. Color is a translucent
gold and silver, with different
forms and shapes.
Of Blue Lake Cave (Brazil)
The region of Mato Grosso do Sul
in Brazil (and mostly quiet town
Bonito) boasts many exceptional
underground lakes: Gruta Lago
Azul, Gruta to Misomo, Akuario
Natural. World famous "Gruta Lago
Azul" (Blue Lake Cave) is a natural
monument, whose interior is formed
by stalactites, stalagmites and
magnificent blue lake. It`s beauty is
impressive. The Blue Lake Cave is
rich in geological formation but
impresses mainly with deep blue
water of the indoor pool.
Giants Causeway (Northern Ireland)
An area of about 40,000 symmetrical
basalt columns, the Giants Causeway
is the result of ancient volcanic
eruption. Located on the northeast
coast of Northern Ireland, most of its
columns are hexagonal, although
some have four, five, seven or eight
countries.The tallest are about 12
meters and the solidified lava in the
cliffs is 28 meters thick in places. In
the 2005 poll of Radio Times listings
site for the fourth greatest natural
wonder in the UK.
Hell Gate (Uzbekistan)
Called by locals The Door to Hell,
this place is located in Uzbekistan
near the small town Darvaz. When
geologists were drilling for gas 35
years ago, accidentally found an
underground cavern that was so great
that all equipment sunk deep
underground. Nobody dared to go
down because of gas, which filled the
cavity, so they ignited it so as not to
come to the surface noxious
fumes. Since then, the spewing
flames. Nobody knows how many
tons of gas is burned for so many
years, but it seems to be infinite.
Wave rock (Australia)
Wave Rock is a natural rock formation
in Western Australia. It derives its
name from the fact that it is shaped
like a tall breaking ocean wave. The
total outcrop covers several hectares
'valnistata' part of the rock is about 15
meters high and approximately 110
meters long. One aspect of that is
rarely photographed, is the retaining
wall about halfway up the cliff. Its
contours allow rainwater to be
collected through the dam that was
built in 1951.
Chocolate Hills (Philippines)
Consisting of 1268 hills with a perfect
conical shape of the same size, located on
an area of 50 square kilometers, this
rather unusual geological formation,
called Chocolate Hills is situated in
Bohol, Philippines. There are several
hypotheses for the formation of the
hills. Including eroded limestone
subokeanski volcanism, raising the
seabed and modern theories suggest that
an ancient active volcano has destroyed
one, as it remained huge stone blocks that
were later covered with limestone and
ocean thrust them forward .
