Food stays fresh for longer when it is kept cool. The
temperature inside a fridge is about 5 degrees, so that
the bacteria which can spoil food are too cold to be very
active. In a fridge all food should be covered and wrapped
it if is to remain moist.
Where would you place the following foods?
Fresh Tomatoes
Eggs
Carton of orange juice
Ice cream
Cheese *
Cooked meats *
Opened tinned tomatoes *
Lettuce
Pint milk
Bacon *
Uncooked chicken *
Fresh cream cake
