Appendicitis is caused by an invasion of bacteria or any other
microorganism. Bacteria multiplies within the organ and then appendix start
becoming swollen and then eventually gets filled with pus, a fluid formed in
the infected tissue that contains the white blood cells and cellular debris. In
some highly adverse conditions, the appendix may rupture or perforate,
bringing a fatal condition to the patient. In most of the cases, one of the
most common causes of appendicitis is the blockage inside the organ
generally stars a process in which, the appendix will become inflamed and
infected. If this inflammation is untouched or left untreated, there are
chances of getting the septic inside the organ. Causes of appendicitis
especially the septic one includes long term untreated or poorly treated
appendicitis. A ruptured appendix will spill bacteria-laden intestinal contents
into the abdominal cavity where it causes of appendicitis will turn into most
fatal condition called as peritonitis. Peritonitis is life-threatening condition that
will burst the intestines and patient may even die.

Appendicitis- is a condition in which the appendix becomes
swollen, inflamed, filled with pus. The appendix is a small pouch
shaped like a small finger. It is on the right side of the abdomen.
What causes Appendicitis may be several things. Infection - a
stomach infection may have found its way to the appendix.
Obstruction – a hard piece of stool must have got trapped in the
appendix. The bacteria in the trapped stool may than have
affected the appendix. Appendicitis means inflammation of the
appendix. It is thought that appendicitis begins when the opening
from the appendix into the cecum becomes blocked. The blockage
may be due to a build-up of thick mucus within the appendix or to
stool that enters the appendix from the cecum. The mucus or stool
hardens, becomes rock-like, and blocks the opening.


anyone can get a
stomach virus. The
stomach virus leads
to appendicitis most
of the time.

Appendicitis can not be spread to other
people, but it can spread throughout
your abdomen when it ruptures. The
acute appendicitis is occurred inside of
your body therefore every harmful
material will be in you and not investing
someone else’s insides.
The only cure for acute appendicitis is to
get the appendix removed from the body.
 The appendix gets fills up with pus and then
it explodes if you do not take it out or have
surgery done in time there's a high chance
of dying.

The treatment for acute appendicitis is
AMITIZA but it is not for everyone. If people
know or think that they have bowel
blockage they cannot take AMITIZA.
 Also if people have sever diarrhea then
they should not take AMITIZA. This treatment
has not been tested for women who are
pregnant so we recommend that they
should not take this treatment.





connected to the cecum.
