Daffodil Month
Paint Your Workplace Yellow
Why the daffodil?
To some the daffodil is just a flower. For us, it is a symbol of
strength and courage. It says we will not give up. It says we will
fight against cancer and we will win.
Funds raised through Daffodil Month help cancer patients and
their families by funding life-saving cancer research and support
programs so that more Canadians survive and no one has to face
cancer alone.
Snapshot: where the money goes
Workplace fundraising plays a powerful role in every
aspect of the Society.
With your support, last year:
We funded $21.3 million in life-saving research that is
transforming the way cancer is prevented, diagnosed,
and treated.
Our volunteers drove 15,600 cancer patients on
197,000 trips to life-saving treatment appointments
through the Wheels of Hope Transportation program.
Our Cancer Information Service empowered 24,598
cancer patients with the information they need to
better understand their diagnosis
