Prostate Cancer = a cancer that occurs in a man’s
prostate ( a small, walnut shaped gland) that
produces the seminal fluid that nourishes and
transports the sperm.
One of the most common types of cancer
Usually slow growing
May remain confined to the prostate initially
There is also a very aggressive type
Earlier the detection the better the outcome
SYMPTOMS
May be none in the early stages
Trouble urinating
Decrease force in the stream of urine
Blood in the urine
Blood in the semen
Swelling in the legs
Discomfort (heaviness) in the pelvic area
Bone pain

When any of the symptoms appear
