What is Computer Graphics?
1. is a sub-field of computer science and is
concerned with digitally synthesizing and
manipulating visual content.
 Computer graphics broadly studies the
manipulation of visual and geometric
information using computational
techniques.
What is Computer Science?
1.

is the study of the theoretical foundations of
information and computation and their
implementation and application in computer
systems
Computer science has many sub-fields;
some emphasize the computation of specific
results, while others relate to properties of
computational problems
What is Animation?
1.

is the rapid display of a
sequence of images of 2D or 3-D artwork or model
positions in order to
create an illusion of
movement.
The most common
method of presenting
animation is as a motion
picture or video program,
although several other
forms of presenting
animation also exist.
What software do we use
for computer graphics?
• micromedia flash
mx 2004
What are the main functions of
Macromedia Flash?
1.

to create animation,
advertisements, various web page
components, to integrate video into
web pages, and more recently, to
develop rich Internet applications.
Flash can manipulate vector and
raster graphics and supports bidirectional streaming of audio and
video.
