Adding External Hyperlinks
• External links jump to files outside the current
Web site.
• Create a link from products.htm page to
website(www.mouse.org)
• The target URL will be displayed on the status
bar after you test the link.
You can use the Search
the Web button to find and
select the destination, or
you can just type in the
URL in the Address Box.

Format Hyperlinks
• By default, the hyperlinks appear in
underlined blue text. You can format the
appearance of hyperlinks using several
different methods.
• First, if the page containing the hyperlink
does not have an associated theme, you
select a text color using the Page
Properties dialog box.
• If the page uses a Web theme, you
cannot use page properties.

• If the page containing the hyperlink has an
associated theme, you can modify the
hyperlink item of the theme.
• Format->theme->Modify->Colors->Custom
Choose Hyperlinks for Item
Choose your color
Save the new theme
Apply the revised theme to the web pages

如果刚才选会动图片(mouse),
这时侯图片会动
按图片,看有设有去prod01
(因为Hyperlinks选prod01)
Creating an Images Map
• A picture can be used to represent a single
hyperlink or multiple hyperlinks. When a picture
is divided into different areas, with each area
representing a different hyperlink, it’s called an
image map.
• To Create an image map, divide an existing
picture into separate hotspots. As you create
each hotspot, you assign a link to it.

Understanding Web Components
• FrontPage offers Web components to enhance the
appearance and functionality of your Web site.
• Web components are FrontPage objects that can be
placed on a Web page. When you insert a component,
FrontPage generates the code for that component.
• The Photo Gallery is an example of a Web component.
Other components include search forms, marquees,
and headlines from an online news service.
