Back returns you to a previously displayed
page. The drop down arrow gives you a list of
pages that are “behind” you. You can quickly
jump to one of these pages by selecting a title
and clicking once.

Forward moves you to where you last left off.

Stop prevents Internet Explorer from loading a
page. If a page is taking too long to download,
then use this button to stop IE from loading
the rest of the page.

Refresh updates the data on the Internet
Explorer screen. If images or text don’t load
properly the first time, simply click this button
to re-load the entire page.

Home returns you to the first page you saw
when you opened Internet Explorer. This page
can be changed by clicking on the Tools menu
> Internet Options…>General Tab.

Search allows opens and closes a Search
page on the left hand side of the window. The
search page includes tools to help you look
for web information.

Favorites opens and closes a list of your
favorite Web links. You can add links and
organize them in this list that opens to the left
of the window.

History opens and closes a list of Web pages
you have visited earlier. Use this button to
quickly get you to something you visited 20
pages ago or even several days ago.

Mail opens and closes the program you use
for sending and receiving e-mail (Outlook
Express or Microsoft Outlook).

Print sends the current page of text and
images to your printer. If you want to print
only a selection or page from the site, go to
File > Print Preview or File > Print.
