Managing Information from a Website
• Favorites – saving a site in list of sites you
might want to revisit.
• Bookmarks – another name for Favorites when
using Mozilla Firefox.

Copying Information from a Website
1. Move to the beginning of the text you wish to
copy and drag over it to select it.
2. Press CTRL-C or Edit/Copy.
3. Move to the destination of the selected text.
4. Press CTRL-V or Edit/Paste.

Saving (Downloading) a Web Page
• Save a presentation to your hard drive or other
removable storage device.
• Click File/Save As and entire filename.
• Allows for access later when an Internet
connection may not be available.
• Great for presentation backups.
• Read while traveling without connection.

• FTP (File Transfer Protocol)

• FileZilla (Free FTP software)
available for download.
• Host computer requires password.
• Some firewalls or gateways block
