Position Summary
The Web Developer II is an expert front-end developer with 4-5 years experience developing complex, large scale web sites.
The candidate should have expert-level skills in HTML and expert skills in JavaScript, CSS, and DHTML. Significant
Experience with an object oriented server-side scripting language such as PHP, ASP or JSP is also required. The Web
Developer II is expected to perform autonomously, at times in a project leadership roles, and have a clear understanding of
the WDPRO project development process
Required Qualifications
Expert-level knowledge of either DHTML, CSS or JavaScript and very strong experience in others
Strong experience with ASP/JSP/PHP or similar server-side scripting language
Proven ability to work with all members of an extended and diverse project team
Experience architecting content and file structure for Content Management Systems
Experience drafting requirements and functional specifications
Must be detail oriented, self-organized and capable of simultaneously tracking multiple issues of varying complexity
Hands-on structured programming experience
Specific Skills Required
4-5 years of web development, including DHTML, CSS and JavaScript
3-4 years experience with ASP/JSP/PHP or other server-side scripting language
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use experience to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot issues
Technical project or team leadership experience
Experience writing technical specs and driving them through development
