The goal of my research
How do i intend to use these sites?
4 interesting web sites
Some slides describing these sites (creator,
how to use these sites?)
• Conclusion…
1
Valentine’s Day
ideas for teachers and
activities for students...
ESL Web sites (4 very interesting
INTERNET SITES). Useful sites for
ESL Students.
presented by Hubert Sauvageau
2
My research was done to introduce
English (to L2 speakers) in a funny
way. Valentine day is a great topic
because students will learn about
valentine day, do great activities
and also improve their English (and
computer skills at the same time
with different games and
interesting web sites)…
3
How do I intend to use these new
sites???
• First, I will ask during different period of
class students to check these sites (4) and do
some activities. Example: Write a Valentine
Card to a friend or a family member.. I can
ask to read about Valentine day and then I do
a small quiz. Furthermore, the other sites
have been chosen to bring English in a new
way of learning… They are fun. They will
bring young students to learn English while
playing (ex: recipe) a game (at the same
time)…

• It's easy! Just go to our site www.bluemontain.com
at Click on any of the links to go to a category of cards. You can also
use the "Select a Category" button. Just select your category from the
drop-down menu, and then click on the "go" button. Then click on a
card you would like to view. To browse through other cards and
categories, you can use the "back" button on your browser.
• Once you have found the card you would like to send, click on the
"personalize and SEND”.
• button at the top of the page. Then you need to carefully enter your

how to create funny valentine cards with different
materials…ex: beanies.
• Make your own special Valentine Cards with
your favorite beanies and other collectibles.
An outdated magazine is an excellent source
for hundred of little pictures.
• This is a project very easy to do with ESL
students. It is a good way to enhance to four
skills (speaking, listening, writing and
reading).
