 A double boiler is
often used in candy
making and steaming.
Rubber Scraper
 Rubber scrapers
come in many sizes,
shapes, and colors
and are used to
scrape the remaining
food items or batter
from pans or bowls.
Kitchen Thermometer
 A kitchen
thermometer can be
used to check the
temperature of many
foods.
Fork
 This type of fork is
different from your
dinner fork. It is used
mainly in cooking
meats. Especially
when cooking on the
grill.
Rolling Pin
 A rolling pin is used to
flatten out and roll out
different kinds of
dough.
Cake/Pie Carrier
 This carrier is used to
transport cakes
and/or pies from one
place to another.
Cooling Racks
 These racks are used
to cool food items like
cakes and cookies.
They allow air to flow
all around the item
until it is cool.
Pie Plate
 This dish is used to
make pies in. The pie
shell fits perfectly into
the pan and the filling
goes right on top.
Strainer
 This strainer is often
used for juices that
may contain pulps
and other small
straining jobs.
Bottle Opener
 As its name suggests,
this item helps you
open bottles and
some types of cans.
Ladle
 This item is used for
dishing out soups,
beverages, and other
liquid food items.
Dry Measuring Cups
 These measuring
cups are used to
measure dry
ingredients such as,
sugar, flour, and
peanut butter.

 This spatula is often

decorating and as an

 This knife is used for
carving meat dishes.

 This item is useful in

without having to use

items in.

 This pan is used for
baking items like jelly
rolls, doughnuts, or
breads.

square shape. These
cakes can also be
layer cakes but are
commonly not.

 This item is used to
grate cheese or
