How to Use the Sun
Database Interface
The Sun Web Database Interface is a set of web
browser screens for entering and maintaining
information about the web pages making up the
Sun Web Site, and for generating those pages.
This is the main screen of the Database
Interface tool. It is used to maintain pages.
Let’s begin by examining an existing page.
Command buttons appear at the top of this
page . . .
Links to other screens appear in the sidebar
area to the left.
Data about the pages begins
here
Next, we’ll pull up an existing page and
examine its contents.
First, select the directory where the page is
located. Pick RehabHospitals from the
dropdown list.
Next, look through the list to find the desired
page. We’ll look for r_kentfeld_home
If the list is long, we can type the first few characters of
the page name in the Page Name field . . .
Then, we can scroll down to the home page
using the mouse. Finally, to select the page,
double-click on the name from the list.
This pulls up the page and associated page data.
