Viewing & Editing Edline Sections
Understanding how to use the section headers to view and manage
Edline content is essential.
• Title - Every section title is a hyperlink and my be used to view the
content of the section.
• Edit Icon - The edit icon is the one that looks like a piece of paper
with writing to the far right of the section header. Click this icon
to manage the contents of the section. Note that this icon only
appears if you have permission to edit the section.
• View Icon - The view icon looks like an eye. As far as we can tell,
this link does exactly the same thing as clicking the title hyperlink.

those teachers who have instructional activities stored
on other sites e.g. Quia, etc.
Adding A Word Document To Your Web Page

•GHS Administration is requiring that all teachers
attach a copy of their syllabus/course outline to
each of their course pages. The SBO office is not
requiring that teachers post additional documents to
their web pages.
•Because there are many instances when adding a
document may be beneficial to your students, these
instructions have been included.
Adding Documents to Folders
1 Go to the class home page by clicking the
class name in your My Classes shortcut
box.
2 Click the name of the folder in the Contents
box to open the folder.
3 Click the “Add to Folder...” button at the top
of the page.
4 Click the radio button next to the
“Document” option. Then click the
“Continue” button.
FEATURE: Edline will put a copy of this
document in the current class and in each class
you selected from the "Other Classes" list.
Because this document is inside a folder, Edline
will put the copies inside the same folder on the
other class home pages. If the other classes
don't have this folder, Edline will create it in those
classes first, then put the document inside the
new folder.
