Sometimes there are more than two alleles
for a trait. The most important one for you to
learn about is… blood type!
Key Point #1:
 Blood
type has three alleles: IA, IB, and i.
IA and IB are co-dominant.
i is recessive.

Didn’t have enough time to teach blood typing, due to
needing to spend a long time reviewing inc./co-dom,
and the difficult version of the quiz taking longer than
expected (20 mins?)
Didn’t want to rush it, so just introduced project instead
 Think this could be done in one day (w/o worktime) if I were
more on my game re: timing


Make sure to do the first one as a demo; don’t expect
them to be able to figure it out (even with your help).
So many alleles confuse kids, even though nothing is
fundamentally different.
