• He was the only child to his family.
• His mother died when he was 3 years old.
• Raphael’s father was a painter.
• His father taught Raphael basic of the painting.
• Raphael took over his father’s workshop. He became more
successful than his father in the town .
EDUCATION

When Raphael was sixteen, he went to be a student and helper to a painter
named Perugino.
• He learned a lot from his master and painting styles began to be very similar.
• Raphael was known to be an disbeliever, but his painting were mostly religious.
• He learned many new painting styles from his teacher. But also maxing some from
the old style.
