Caveman Primal Bars are made with lean, all-natural chicken, providing optimal PER
(protein efficiency ratio), which allows for superior digestibility, assimilation and
utilization of protein to build and retain healthy lean muscle. The PER of chicken is
higher than milk and soy and other plant based proteins. The PER chicken is similar
to beef protein, but with less saturated fat.
Many protein-based bars use milk-based proteins that are heated during
processing. The heating process denatures and decreases the quality and value
of the protein. Our Primal bars are a complete protein, contain all the essential
amino acids and do not lose their value and quality during preparation.
