The Bible is Consistent!
Written over a vast period with
many different authors,
languages, political situations .
..
It all flows because it’s God’s
book not man’s!
The Bible makes statements
that can be tested for
accuracy through history,
science, archeology etc.
Yay! We’re to the
Best Part of this
Class!!!




We now know that the human body
is made of hydrogen, carbon,
nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, sulfur,
calcium, iron , etc.
Guess what else has all that stuff in
it?
That’s right! The dust of the ground!!!
It says we can find it at the
intersection of the Tigris,
Euphrates, Pishon, and Gihon
rivers
 Which 2 are easily found, today?
 Which was recently discovered
to be a dry river bed still
existing, today?


God created it from

Finally, science
forced them to see
that it is round
Many critics say
that it does

For centuries, before anyone else caught
on – the Bible said the earth was round:
It is He who sits above the circle of the
earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a
curtain
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell
in.
Finally, science
forced them to see
that the earth
rotates around the
sun
Psalm 19:6
Its rising is from one end of the
heavens, And its circuit to the other
end of them; And there is nothing
hidden from its heat.





Look again at the words of the verse:
“Its rising is from one end of the heavens,
And its circuit to the other end of them;”
It’s not saying the sun moves around the
earth but that the sun moves across the
heavens
God speaks to us from our vantage point,
remember?
To us, it looks like the sun moves across
the sky – so, that’s how he speaks to us


Astronomers have discovered that
the entire solar system (including
the sun) is in a long orbit through
the galaxy and across the heavens
It took humans a long time to see
that their science matches God’s
Word but (as usual) it does once we
finally see it


The Catholic Church used to
condemn Galileo for saying that the
sun was the center of the universe
but they DID NOT GET THE IDEA
FROM THE BIBLE
The belief that the Earth is the
Center of the universe was proposed
by a Greek Pagan named Aristotle

The Hydrologic Cycle (Eccl. 1:6-7, Amos
5:8):
Blowing toward the south,
Then turning toward the north,
The wind continues swirling along;
And on its circular courses the wind
returns.
All the rivers flow into the sea,
Yet the sea is not full.
To the place where the rivers flow,
There they flow again.

“[. . .] make them into
bread for yourself; you
shall eat it according to
the number of the days
that you lie on your side,
three hundred and
ninety days’”
Wouldn’t Ezekiel have
died?
Whenever you see 3 dots in a text that
mean that something was skipped: See?
 The skipped part was a special bread
recipe: “But as for you, take wheat,
barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt, put
them in one vessel and make them into
bread for yourself;”
 Turns out the bread made of these
ingredients “is 84.3% as efficient as the
highest recognized source of protein!

The bread contains all 8 of the essential
amino acids! What’s more, there are 18
amino acids present in this unusual
bread!
 They actually sell this bread in health
food stores.
 No, not that everything in those stores is
biblical but it goes to show that even
pagans can recognize a good healthy
recipe in the Bible when they see one!

 Now
the man
called his wife’s
name
Eve, because she
was the mother
of all the living.

In Chapter Two we learned that every
human cell contains mitochondria,
inherited almost entirely from the
individual’s mother
 Molecular biologists have examined
mitochondria from people in various
places around the world and have
concluded that every living human is
descended from one woman
(Newsweek 1988a, 46-52)

Of course they say she lived about
200,000 years ago because they make a
guess at how fast mutations occur


Although 200,000 is just a GUESS, the
fact that Newsweek admits we all came
from one woman is pretty satisfying to
hear!
