Mother, father, brother and sister, my friend from IDF: I send you regards
from the prison and I miss you all.
I am already one year in prison and my medical status is getting worse,
I need a long treat in hospital. I am sorry that the Israeli government and
the IDF are not interested enough in my issue, and that they don't response
to the demands of KATAB EL KASAM. It is obvious that they must response
to their demands in order that I will get free, especially because I was in an
army operation, and not a drug dealer. And like I have parents, all the Palestinian
prisoners have parents that you must bring their sons back.I hope that my
government will be more interested in me, and will agree to all the demands of
at KATAB EL SHAHID EL KASAM, Corporal Gilad Shalit”
