About company
BIOFARMA - is leading Ukrainian pharmaceutical enterprise, that produce and develop innovative drugs, made
from human blood plasma, recombinant drugs and medicines on the basis of spore-forming bacteria.
Quality - our main priority, guaranteed by the current system of quality management is aligned with
international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001.
Production processes brought into conformity with the standards of GMP, as confirmed by the relevant
certificate.
Nowadays, plant processes 80 tons of plasma per year. After building a new fractionation facility, this amount will
increase to 200 tons in 2018 and 420 tons in 2021, respectively.
Biofarma already successfully exporting its drugs to 15 countries, including Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Belarus,
Georgia and others.
In 2012, the investment company Horizon Capital became a shareholder of Biopharma.
Due to this, within 3 years were raise $ 45 million to build new biopharmaceutical facility. Another $ 40 million
will be invested in 2016-2018 years to build plasma fractionation facility.
The overall turnover for 2014 reached UAH 436 million , and by 2015 – UAH 625 million .

Use of the drug
Albumin
The drug is prescribed for traumatic and operating shocks, burns, hypoproteinemia and hypoalbuminemia
different origins, in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, acute pancreatitis, operations with extracorporeal
circulation.
Bioven (IVIG)
The drug is used for substitution of immunotherapy in the treatment of primary and secondary
immunodeficiencies and related diseases and for the treatment and prevention of diseases caused by bacterial
and viral infection.
Biocloth А (Factor VIII)
Treatment and prevention of bleeding caused by innate or acquired deficiency of factor VIII (hemophilia A,
inhibitory form of hemophilia A, acquired deficiency of factor VIII, is associated with spontaneous appearance
of inhibitors to factor VIII). Von Willebrand disease with deficiency of factor VIII.
