All-Russian public organization to assist in the
prevention and treatment of narcological diseases
"Russian Narcology League"
is the official representative of ECAD
(European Cities against drugs)
in Russia.
We also are the professional Association of
narcologists.
On the initiative of the substance abuse community and the main drug
treatment of the territorial entity of the Russian Federation and in
execution of Federal act №323 "About bases of health protection of
citizens in the Russian Federation" the chief psychiatrist of Ministry of
health of the Russian Federation Evgeny A. Bryun proposed to create a
professional community of doctors-experts in narcology which further was
called «The Association of narcologists».
In accordance with article 76, paragraph 2, our organization can in
accordance with legislation of the Russian Federation participate in the
development of regulations and rules in the field of health, in matters
involving violation of these rules, orders of rendering medical care and
standards of care, training programmes and training of doctors for them to
participate in the certification of medical workers for their qualification
categories.
We develop and approve clinical recommendations (treatment protocols)
of medical care.

For 5 years Russian narcological League
released 22 issues of the journal and 76
Newspaper issues
"The independence of personality“.
Every year Russian Narcology League conducts various activities in different
cities all over Russia, which are united by one problem –
the struggle with drug addiction.
The number of them is about 30 a year.
In 2012 Russian Narcology League became the official national representative of
ECAD in Russia.
In 2013 was signed the official contract between the professional community
and ECAD.
We have already held 5 events dedicated to
the day of struggle with drug addiction and alcoholism.
About 20 000 people attended this event.

We had also a rally across Russia
in support of the opposition to spread not only drugs and
alcohol, but also the ideology of the drug subculture
Also twice a year Russian Narcology League holds the
Congress of the League. Drug experts from all over Russia
come to Moscow to discuss topical issues of addiction.
In 2013 our organization started to produce a manual for doctors
"Clinical guidelines". Today we have had 4 issues.
Also, the Russian Narcology League creates laws and creates petitions.
The last one was about the elimination of alcohol from the shops
located in residential buildings.
On June 26, 2015 started to be collecting signatures in Moscow and
then in other cities and towns.
We also need to say a little about the Rehabilitation center “Dobrinka”.
This Rehabilitation center was
established with the support of Russian narcological League,
The Ministry of health of the Russian Federation,
administration of Lipetsk region,
The health Department of the city of Moscow and Moscow scientific
and practical center of addiction.
The principle of operation of the rehabilitation center "Dobrinka" is a
humanistic approach to patients using the Minnesota model and
experience of therapeutic communities based on the program "12
steps".
