Governor George C. Wallace Sr.
• Symbol- an eagle holding a group of
arrows in its left talons, over a compass
rose, with a banner which reads "The
American Independent Party"
• Catholic religion plays a major role.
• Jesus Christ is the God of this land.
• Families are the fundamental
building blocks of a moral society.
• Traditional family values are the
strength of our nation.
• "free enterprise" is the best
economic system for America.
• Taxation should be limited to
those methods provided for in
the original Constitution
• state & local governments have the
right & moral obligation to
discourage drug & alcohol use &
gambling in their jurisdictions
• protection of the environment
should be a state responsibility
• Strong defense establishment is essential to
the preservation of our nation.
• America must not commit its military to any
international organization.
