Transcript Rising action

By Matthew Moroski, Daniel
Rebock, and Nick Hulcher
This portion of the project is based
on the rising action of the short
story / play “The Island of Dr.
Moreau”. This story is based on a
shipwrecked man that was saved
by a doctor on a ship that was
taking supplies and animals to a
mysterious and quiet island.
The rising action is when William
Prendick is locked In the room
that the two doctors put him in.
he begins to get anxious and the
door is left open so he goes
exploring the island.
He sees a thing that looks like a
man but also looks like a leopard
drinking from the river on its
hands and knees.
It sees Prendick and chases him
across the island. Prendick gets
back to the room where one of
the doctors injects him with a
sleeping drug.
He wakes up the next
morning remembering
that Dr. Moreau got
kicked out of london
because of experiments
on humans and animals
so he decides that he is
not safe with the doctors
so he decides to go see
the animal humans.
