Summary & Conclusion
New Mexico has been very proactive in passing
prescription drug legislation that will:
1.) reduce the cost of prescription drugs to consumers;
and
2.) reduce the cost of prescription drugs to the state
We are beginning to see very positive results
We will continue to monitor implementation of the
statutes, and to pursue extension of this valuable
program to other parts of state government
