DLM 410
An issue with age-related warnings for children
has been addressed.
When adding a prescription prescribed e.g. By
hospital, (as historical entry) too many checks
were being applied to it. These will be relaxed,
enabling the recording of many items that were
not previously possible.

DLM 410
Allergy recording for Discontinued and
unavailable drugs , constraints that were applied
have now been lifted (e.g. Tetanus)
The list of drugs displayed in the Switch to Brand
dialog will exclude parallel imports and they also
will be displayed alphabetically.

non-viewable

Non-viewable appointments slots can now be viewed in Con
Manager as well as Appt
They remain unavailable to VOS; patients cannot view or
book non-viewable slots in VOS.
All VOS patients receive confirmation emails every time an
appointment is booked in Vision or VOS - Non-viewable
slots do not generate a confirmation email on booking.
Hint – Practices using appointments for internal
messages should ensure the slots used are Non–
Viewable. These are then not seen in VOS.

DLM 410 & August DD
Items marked as “never valid to prescribe as a generic”
– This is because DoH prohibit the prescribing of some generic preps,
where dm+d lists them as “not recommended to prescribe - brands
not bioequivalent” or “not recommended to prescribe - patient training
required”.
– After discussion they have agreed to change their requirement and we
shall change Vision to allow the prescribing of these generic
preparations, only warning users that they are recommended to be
prescribed by brand.
– These will still require a user to select a brand. Both updates will be
required for a full implementation of this change.
