• Partnership responsible for delivering
National Drugs strategy in Lancashire
• Partnership includes public, private and
voluntary sector agencies working to
reduce harm caused by susbtance misuse
• Partners include Police, Probation, LA and
Health authorities

• Responsible for
– Commissioning substance misuse services
– Monitoring performance against national and local
targets
– Delivering the National Drug Strategy
– Promoting awareness of help and advice
– Support the recovery agenda
– Keeping stakeholders engaged and fully informed
• LDAAT works with local partners and the voluntary
sector to develop drug and alcohol services that let
people re-build their lives in their own communities

– Arrest Referral
– Court referral
– Conditional Cautions
– Required Assessments

– PPO / Targeted offender work
– Prison link

Full range of treatment interventions across tiers 2 and 3 including brief interventions,
pyschosocial interventions and community prescribing
Based across all 3 districts – sharing bases with J2R
