As a veteran, you may be eligible for veterans
preference regarding open, outside, competitive
positions that are scored and ranked.
 Our policy prohibits discrimination or unfair
treatment toward any veterans, including Vietnam
Era and disabled veterans.
 Supervisors or employers cannot discriminate against
people in the armed forces, active or reservists.

Employers making blanket statements that all
Vietnam Veterans were drug users or crazy.
 Employers denying a veteran employment, training,
or other work related projects because of past,
present or future military obligations.
 Employers denying employment based on
reservist/national guard duty.

