Those convicted of
drug felonies are
subject to asset
forfeitures, such as
vehicles, items
purchased with
proceeds of
drug sales, and
real property.
Penalties
Those convicted
of drug felonies
are prohibited
from purchasing
or possessing
firearms or
ammunition.
Penalties
Those convicted of a controlled substance offense
are not eligible for student loans, grants, or work
assistance programs.

Penalties
Those convicted of drug felonies are not eligible for
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

ND Meth Penalties
Possession of paraphernalia or sale of imitation product
Class C Felony = $5,000 and/or 5 years in prison
Possession of any amount of methamphetamine
Class B Felony = $10,000 and/or 10 years in prison
Possession with intent to sell or engaging in the act of distribution
Class A Felony = $20,000 and/or 20 years in prison
Involving a juvenile in the distribution, selling to a juvenile,
or distributing within 1,000 feet of a school
Class AA Felony = Maximum sentence - life in prison
