Background
• Angus falls service and dementia liaison
team had noted that level of physical
activity was low in care homes.
• ‘Make every moment’ count resource
launched.
• ‘Generations working together’
Aims
To increase levels of physical activity
for older people living in Angus care
Homes.
To provide opportunities for community
engagement.
What we did
Go for gold - learning event where we first
thought to develop our event to include
generations working together.
Key representatives from all partner agencies
met on a monthly basis to plan and organise
the event.

care homes, volunteers, sports
leadership pupils.

100 % answered
yes to organising
another event.

very confident about

activities.

quite confident
