Persons with no known risk factors for TB
(Targeted skin testing programs should only be conducted among high-risk groups)
10 mm
Recent immigrants (< 5 yrs) from high prevalence countries
Injection drug users
Residents & employees of high-risk congregate settings
(e.g., prisons, nsg homes, hospitals, homeless shelters)
Mycobacteriology lab personnel
Persons with clinical conditions that place them at high risk
(eg, DM, leukemia, ESRD)
Children < 4 yo, or children/adolescents exposed to adults in high-risk categories

HIV-positive person
Patients with organ transplants
Other immunosuppressed patients, including steroids > 1 mo.
Recent contacts of person with TB
Persons with nodular or fibrotic changes on CXR c/w old TB
