What is a ‘contribution to society’?
• A contribution to society is something
that helps that society to function in
some way.
– For example, society needs to know what
will cause unrest, and to know what causes
crime so that it can be reduced.
– Society needs to know about education so
that its members are skilled for jobs, as the
economy of a society is very important.
