MDHU PLYMOUTH KEY FACTS:
The first of Five MDHU’s, opened in 1995.
180 Military personnel made up of Navy, Army, RAF.
The Headquarters, made up of Civilian and Military
personnel is located in the Norwich Union Building.
Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) are located
within the MDHU and offer a neutral and confidential
staff support service.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
The MDHU has an affiliated Physical Trainer based at
HMS Drake who encourages the unit to take part in
many different and exciting sporting events and
activities outside the working environment, helping
personnel to de-stress and relax while helping to
maintaining their fitness and team morale.
