Education Programs
0 We will continue to teach courses in digital forensics and data
security for the Information Assurance Minor; currently the Digital
forensics course is utilizing the SAIAL lab to conduct projects. Both
the Minor and the SAIAL lab are part of UTD’s CyberSecuirty and
Emergency Preparedness Institute
0 Planning to introduce a Track in Semantic Web (or certificate). We
have an Adjunct faculty teaching the courses. Our professors will
take over some of the courses. Details of the track are available and
will be presented to the Faculty
0 Knowledge Discovery Track (or certificate) with courses in Data
Mining (techniques and applications), Statistics, Advanced Database
Management, Machine Learning
0 Discussions with Economics and Policy school for Geospatial
technology track/certificate
