Denmark is excellent for biking. It’s flat!
5.2 million Danes own 4.4 million bicycles. 45% of Danish children bike to
school. 17% of men and 36% of women commute by bike.

The answer, my friend
Denmark is flat and windy, Danes turn this to their advantage.
Hundreds of wind turbines around the country deliver 20% of the nation’s
energy consumption.
Denmark has become a world leader in wind energy: half of the world’s
9
wind turbines are manufactured in Denmark.
