The data reveals that Albania is a developing country because their agriculture labor force
by occupation is 47.8% and the U.S. has no agricultural labor forces and the U.S. as you
all know is a developed country.
GEOGRAPHY

Albania has 11,100 square miles
•
Mostly mountainous, with a narrow costal low lands along the Adriatic and Ionian Seas
•
Coastal soils are fertile but not well drained for agriculture, instead rocks, forested
mountains and sandy beaches are considered a treasure to Albanians for their tourism
potential.

The country has some mountain lakes

The nations biggest peak is Korabi (9,026 feet or 2,751 meters tall) other mountains are
know to be over 8,000 feet though.

Summers are hot and dry, winters are mild and wet, winter low temperature may fall to 0
degrees f especially in the north and southeast, the summer high may get up to 90
degrees f

Since the soil is fertile in Albania they can grow crops, also because of their natural
resources they can make metal with their iron and sell the nickel that they mine, and use
the coal for electricity.

Because of them being a developing country they will have a lot of farmers and
agricultural jobs to be farming but because of only the coastal lands are fertile it will be
hard for them to grow a lot of crops.
CULTURE
•
Before 1991 clothing was usually homemade now it is usually purchased, urban woman
wear dresses and skirts more than pants, the youth like to wear jeans and t-shirts with
sneakers, urban professional men wear business suits and ties, people from rural areas
wear traditional clothes depending on their religion.

Albanians speak shiqip (Albanian) which is a Indo-European language directly from
Illyrian. In 1908 Albanians adopted a Latin script that contains 36 letters, 7 of which are
vouls.

That we need to know that these people are very traditional people because all their
traditions, arts, clothing, some music, and some jobs are related to their religion so that
really means that they are a traditional country.

get Albania to be a developed country in the world.
