New business initiatives in
creation of telecom cluster :
Mobilioji banga
• We realise that efforts of mobile operators are
not sufficient to sustain the progress in
telecommunications area as a whole
• We clearly see significant potential of science
and research available in the country
• We take this opportunity to achieve synergy from
business, science and education for the benefit
of our society

infrastructure and further integration with
business and society requirements will become

Mobilioji banga and Bite GSM
• Supporting this initiative Bite GSM is the first operator
in Lithuania to open it’s network infrastructure for
Universities. That enables Universities to carry out
R&D activities with direct access to state of the art
technologies
• We also are the first movers in attracting international
business know-how of mobile telecommunications to
Lithuania in order to achieve faster integration of the
country’s science & business into EU
• The solid foundation for this ambitious initiative is
ensured by the key principle: all parties participate as
equal partners
