Taxes
 We have a moderate view on taxes. We feel that taxes
are necessary in gaining revenue for the federal and
state governments. But, taxes are too high and
government should better regulate their spending to
keep taxes low.
The Economy
 The Economy is in a hole right now.
 We want to introduce a stimulus plan to increase jobs
and help balance the economy.
 We want to decrease inflation of the U.S. dollar. (Rate
of inflation 1.7%)
Education
 Let’s get rid of no child left behind. The bad
outweighs the good.
 Good student
Abortion
 Irresponsible people should not be able to get
abortions if they just don’t feel like taking care of a
child.
 The people who have a legitimate reason to get an
abortion should still be able to have one; i.e. baby is
mentally inept, mother was raped, and the life of the
mother is at risk.
Affirmative Action
 We are not in favor of quotas, however we are in favor
of nondiscriminatory hiring and promotions.
 We believe the best person for a job should get the job.
 In a perfect world we would never need affirmative
action.
Social Security
 We should increase the age for social security to 70.
 We have settled on a compromise. It’s a good thing
people live as long as they do, but that means that
people are taking more money from the government
for retirement at an earlier age. If we increase the age
to 70, we will be able to save some of the excess
spending on old people.
Medicare
 For Medicare we hold a moderate view.
 We think that if you make under 20,000 dollars per
year, you should only be able to get minimal health
care.
 If you are an illegal immigrant, all you get is a stapler, a
lighter, a sewing needle, and some string. Sucks.
 For people who make over 20,000 per year, you should
get adequate health care and treatment.
Immigration
 If you are illegal, you get deported.
 We should have better border control.
 If you are an immigrant with an IQ over 130, you can
stay.
Environment
 Let’s preserve it.
 Better endorsement of national parks.
 Better regulations and standards on gas emissions to
help protect the environment.
 Higher penalties on those who litter.
Foreign Affairs
 We support military intervention where necessary.
Gun Control
 People should be allowed to own and use firearms.
 One should have to apply for a permit to carry
concealed weapon.
 The laws already in place today are how we want to
keep them.
Gay Rights
 Equal rights for everyone.
 We are in favor of civil unions.
 We respect the rights of religious groups to have their
views, but we don’t support discriminatory behavior.
