Why you need more than one
signal injector
The VNA is an ESSENTIAL tool for
Power Measurement
It is MUCH more useful than an any other
piece of test equipment, by far.
However, the majority of measurements
require an “interface” between the DUT
and the test equipment
Signal Injectors provide this connection,
simply, with high fidelity and via an
interface that is non-invasive to the
measurement
J2100A and J2101A Transformers –
Traditional Stability/Bode
Both transformers are CE certified for
600V CAT II operation assuring personal
safety as well as being approved for
shipment anywhere in the world.

J2110A Solid State Voltage Injector –
Stability/IMD Testing
The J2110A “Bode Box” offers high
speed, minimally invasive voltage
modulation in both the time domain and
frequency domain with a frequency
range of DC-100+ MHz. The solid state
injector offers the highest performance
available anywhere. It also allows
measurements with the highest fidelity
and the minimum noise
Many of our customers use the J2110A
for low frequency control loops, such as
thermal, motor and PFC loops
A special, highly linear front-end also
supports non-mixing summing
applications, such as IMD testing
J2111A and J2112A Current Injectors –
Noninvasive Stability/Step Load/Impedance
The J2111A and J2112A offer high
speed, non-invasive current
modulation in both the time
domain and frequency domain.
With minimal capacitance and up
to 10nSec switching speed, these
devices do what Electronic loads
cannot
J2111A and J2112A Current Injectors
We can extract the stability from PSRR
or output impedance and in some cases
we can even extract the bode plot!

The J2111A and J2112A, along with the
OMICRON Lab Bode 100, support cursor
based non-invasive stability (Phase Margin)
measurement!
J2120A Line Injector - PSRR
The J2120A provides input
voltage modulation for PSRR
testing and also for filter testing.
Supporting applications up to
50V at operating currents up to
5A, this regulator makes PSRR
testing simple

J2140A Cascadable Attenuator
In some cases, especially when measuring low power circuits such as opamps and
voltage references, it is necessary to reduce the VNA oscillator signal below -80dBm.
This is far below the capability of most analyzers. The J2140A provides 10dB-70dB
attenuation with 50 Ohm input and output impedances
In many low level applications it is necessary to maintain very small signals. The J2140A
attenuator is also useful for calibrating noise measurements. Cascading two J2140As
allows you to calibrate noise signals as small as 100nVpp using a Spectrum Analyzer
such as the RSA5106A
J2180A Wideband Low Noise Preamp
The 0.1Hz-100MHz wide bandwidth ultra low noise
20dB preamp includes an active DC bias loop
The device supports high fidelity testing, such as EMI
and noise, and it works with all oscilloscopes,
spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
It also interfaces Hi-Z probes to 50 Ohm equipment
J2102A Common Mode Transformer
• Greatly attenuates the effects of low frequency
ground loops
• Supports the 2 Port Shunt Thru impedance
measurement required for Power Distribution
Networks (PDNs)
• Maintains 50 Ohm transmission line integrity to
approximately 500MHz
• Works with all types of test equipment to eliminate
ground loops, such as Network and Spectrum
Analyzers and Oscilloscopes

J2170A Worldwide Adapter
The J2170A operates from an input voltage of
100-240VAC allowing it to be used anywhere.
CE certification assures safety as well as
allowing it to be sold anywhere in the world.
Two ultra high PSRR, low noise, custom linear
regulators provide clean power to the powered
injectors, which include the J2110A, J2111A,
