Overview
Main Menu
The main menu provides easy selection of the main
functions of the software :

Downloading From PAT – 2 Easy Steps
STEP 1 – Connect PAT to the Computer
To connect to a USB port, a Serial to USB converter lead* can be used.

STEP 2 – Download The Data
Click
Download Icon
Press any
button on PAT
Download Progress
Displayed
When download is complete, the PAT memory can be automatically cleared.
Printing Reports – 3 Easy Steps
STEP 1 – Select ‘Print Report’ Icon
Click Print Report(s)

STEP 2 – Select The Report
Select a report then click
SELECT.
For reports marked ‘?’, set
the name & address of customer
then click SAVE.
The report can be
viewed on screen
or printed by
selecting from
the ‘After Save…’
action box.

Installing the Software
After inserting the CD, a browser will be displayed.
Click INSTALL to begin and the program and all supporting
files will be installed.
Running the Software For the First Time
To start the software, select START -> PROGRAM ->
Transmille PAT – PATDRS Download & Reporting Software.
The software is supplied with an activation code
(inside of CD cover) – this should be entered on the screen
shown below :
Entering Your Company / User Details
When the software is run for the first time, it will
ask which COM port will be connected to the PAT.
Select a COM port using
the drop down list
Company details can also be entered, which will be used to
print on the test reports.
Enter company
name/address
Enter up to 2
user names
This information can
be edited at any time
using the SETUP
function.
Enabling the Memory
If the software is running for the first time, it will also
ask if the memory should be enabled on the PAT :
Click YES to enable memory
Enabling the memory function sets the PAT to a mode which
performs the following actions :
• Displays an appliance list at the beginning of a test
• Displays and stores a label number on completion of a test
• Stores test data to memory, ready for download using the
software
Setup Menu Overview
The setup menu provides access to the settings stored
in the PAT internal memory :
Edit Company Information
Change COM port
Set PAT Time & Date
Set PAT Label Number
Set Calibration Data – Edit cal date, cal due, serial no. & model no.
PAT Memory – Erase & enable memory options
