 CAN Softtech offers modeling services to meet custom user needs. Modeling
incorporates statistical and operations research techniques to analyze historical
data to extract information in a structured form that supports management and
decision making. We have designed and developed custom manpower forecasting
and simulation models to meet our customer’s planning and budgeting needs for
over 5 years
 CAN Softtech has developed number of successful modeling systems for Healthcare
companies like Active Health Management which is a leading provider of health
management services, including disease management, clinical decision support
and personal health records.
 CAN Softtech has gathered a powerful team consisting of a unique combination of
people with extensive experience building sophisticated models based on their
expertise in reserve manpower policies, software development, and mathematical
modeling. This combination of skills gives us the capabilities to produce timely,
accurate, and flexible manpower models to support analysis and answer questions
posed by the leadership.
 These skills and experience, when combined with our thorough understanding of
data warehousing and data mining techniques, give us an exceptional capability to
design, develop, validate, and execute the most sophisticated and accurate
manpower models in the industry.
Database Design

CAN Softtech begins each database design project by completing
comprehensive data modeling. Our experienced database design team helps
our clients define tables and fields in databases. We create a blueprint of how
all data will be stored. This time spent on the design helps to optimize storage
and retrieval of all data from the database. We then create an OLTP(Online
Transactional Processing) database according to the physical model. We
implement all of our customer’s access requirements, defining which users
have access to which tables, fields, and functionalities. We often set these
custom databases to receive input from our custom applications that we
create to automate our customer’s business processes.

CAN Softtech has successfully implemented different types of replication like
Transactional Replication, Merge Replication between OLTP and Batch Load
process server for the Active Health Management client.

CAN Softtech has designed bunch of databases to support bunch of custom
applications built here in-house and on client sites.
Portals

CAN Softtech has designed many custom portals. Portals integrate many
components, including applications, other portals, management systems and
other web 2.0 features, including blogs and wikis. This integration allows users
a familiar framework that gives them access to many disparate components
from within a single website.

CAN Softtech has designed and developed web training portal for OPEN AIR
using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, XML and SQL Server.

CAN Softtech has designed and developed online web Exam Scheduling and
online exam using Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC, WCF Services, WPF and SQL Server
to Human Resources department in Edison Electric Institute.
CAN Softtech has designed and developed online web portal application for
Active Health Management to track patient track information and assessments
using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET and SQL Server, WCF, ASP.NET Web Services.


CAN Softtech has designed and developed Instant Author development tool to
build Xml Content files for E-Learning online courses using ASP.NET AJAX, Web
Services and SQL SERVER to PAL-TECH Inc which is a federal government
contractor.

CAN Softtech is in the process of completing the Energy utilization analysis
and reduction strategy tool which will help cut costs by improving maximizing
space utilization, and reducing energy consumption.
Workflow & Business Automation

CAN Softtech identifies and automates business workflow. We help our clients
recognize established processes, or workflows, that they go through to
complete their business functions. Each workflow is unique, and often involves
many complex processes. Many manually completed tasks can be automated
to reduce employee workload and increase accuracy and timeliness. After
defining these processes, CAN Softtech develops custom software to save time
and speed data processing and task completion.

Custom software can be designed to automatically update and transfer data
according to each client’s precise business rules. This software minimizes and
facilitates all required user input and interaction. This automation paper
processes and decreases user interaction, easing employee work-load and
saving time and money.

This custom software also makes all data available for automatic and
extensive reporting and analysis, eliminating the need to create reports and
presentations manually– a very time-consuming process. Business Automation
increases visibility, management, and tracking of data output.

CAN Softtech has created dozens of applications designed to automate the
business processes of our clients. For example, we worked with one of our
client and automated their Travel Expense reimbursement program, New
Employee Onboarding process, Procurement requisition, Voluntary and
involuntary Employee Seperation process.
Data Warehousing

CAN Softtech helps our clients design functional data warehouses to store,
extract, load and transform data, as well as manage directories. Data
warehouses, also known as OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) databases, then
help our clients access and analyze data quickly and efficiently.

The process of designing a data warehouse begins with data modeling. CAN
Softtech will analyze all the data feeds that our customers would like to
warehouse. We create a data warehouse blueprint that describes how all the
data will be effectively and efficiently stored. When the model is approved, the
data warehouse is designed using either star schema or snowflake schema. Then
using SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS), we design custom ETLs(Extract
Transfer Load) to examine, cleanse, and load data into the data warehouse from
all desired data feeds. Our experienced data team even builds consistent,
thorough metadata for use in custom applications.

CAN Softtech has recently worked with the Active Health Management to
modernize and unify their data warehouse. Our database design team helped
establish a database that could receive input from several sources and is updated
daily with the most accurate, current information available. This enormous data
warehouse is capable of collecting and compiling all of the data that is required
to run a number of applications that support the Active Health Management. This
data warehouse is updated constantly by adding new data feeds in order to
expand the amount of information we provide to the Active Health Management.
Reporting

Custom reports and ad hoc reporting tools provide access to the most relevant
data in custom charts, graphs, and tables. See changes in trends and progress
toward goals. CAN Softtech helps clients define their business needs exactly –
displaying the most relevant data in a custom view. These reports facilitate
decision-making processes, and will be available with accurate data and
delivered on a user-defined schedule.

CAN Softtech has developed hundreds of custom reports housed within several
applications that expose the most salient data to the client in a usable
format, delivered in a timely fashion. Many of our custom applications contain
a subscription tool that allows users to designate when they would like select
reports to be automatically delivered to their email inbox.

We have also designed a variety of custom tools that allow users to create
custom reports that contain the information they view on a regular basis.
These reports can also be delivered automatically to the user via the
subscription tool.
Dashboard

Custom dashboards created by CAN Softtech give clients access to the most
important data they need daily – all in one place. Dashboards can include
graphs, charts, gauges, reports, maps, tables, custom text, and images. They
are optimized to meet the business needs of each employee role.

CAN Softtech not only designs custom dashboards, but we have created tools
that allow users to design their own custom dashboards. These tools, used by
Active health Management and Edison Electric Institute, allow users to
develop their own collections of information, ranging from maps of their
particular state showing key strength information, to creating text boxes that
include measurements displaying monthly data for a particular unit within
their state. Once the users have developed these dashboards, they are able to
subscribe to them so that they are automatically emailed to them daily,
weekly, or monthly with updated data.




